Monday – Friday / 37 hours per week / 8:15am – 5:00pm (Mon – Thur) / 8:15am – 12:15pm (Fri)
As a result of consistent orders and demand for their products, a long established, globally recognised FMCG
manufacturing company has a requirement for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced
Building Services Team.
This role will suit a facilities engineer who has exposure to working within a fast-paced industrial
manufacturing environment. Other facilities Engineering experience is also very much considered if you have a
proactive approach to learning to work within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Role Description
- Provision of both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance across a wide range of Facilities and
Building Services. - Fault Finding both Mechanically & Electrically.
- Perform installation work, supporting site and process modifications including supplies and services to
work equipment. - Fault finding and repair across HVAC plant, electrical systems, BMS, pneumatic and energy monitoring
systems. - Keeping H&S at the forefront when all work is conducted.
- Working within a team of 5 other facilities engineers.
- Reporting on recurrent faults and facilitating repair activities with the Engineering team / supervisor.
- Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- Facilities / Building Services Maintenance experience.
- Formal Mechanical or Electrical Qualifications – Level 3+.
- Ability to perform both planned and reactive Maintenance.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
