enthusiastic and technically competent Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. Designing,
manufacturing, and installing a host of equipment for a variety of industries this business boasts a
comprehensive, long standing market presence spanning across multiple decades.

Having seen a surge in demand for their products, the business is growing at a rapid pace. Provision of their
bespoke services for an ever-growing portfolio of clients really separates them from their competitors!
This position will appeal to a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer who has perhaps worked in industry for 3+
years and is looking for a new challenge or a Mechanical Design Engineer who desires to test their skills in a
new environment. Bespoke, machinery specific training is provided for the right motivated engineer.

Role Description

• Mechanical Design Engineering from initial conception through to manufacturing.
• Utilisation of 3D CAD Packages.
• Specification of process, hardware and mechanical aspects of design including automation and
  mechanical control.
• Creation of BOM’s and final assembly drawings.
• Design for manufacture and budget control.
• Aiding in R&D of new concepts and designs.
• Overseeing testing and final handover.
• Liaison with clients when required.
• Working within a close-knit team of skilled Design Engineers.

Skills & Experience

• Mechanical Design Engineering experience – 3 years+.
• Material Handling or Industrial (moving part) design experience.
• Degree / HNC or Time Served experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3D CAD Experience – any package considered.
• Ability to work and interact well within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and in time take on full ownership of design projects.
